Elizabeth _____ emigrated in May, 1638 from England to New England; with her husband, Richard and two young sons. Richard died in 1638, leaving Elizabeth to raise her two children by herself in this new country. I wish we knew more of Elizabeth. She had to be an amazing woman. She must have given them great strength and honor. I wonder if she knew she was raising children that would be the beginning of a line that would have such an impact on this new world.
